Countdown to Chile 2014

Hola!  We are about to embark on another travel adventure.  We are going to Chile for three weeks, arriving after an overnight flight on Friday March 7.   Our first stop will be Santiago where we will be renting an apartment in Santiago Bellavista across from the Museo of Bellas Artes and Parque Forestal.  We will be there for 12 nights and then travel to Valparaiso where we will stay in a Bed and Breakfast for nine nights.

We're looking forward to sun, sights and history, good wine and adventure.  Allan will be"Alano" again as we'll be in a Spanish speaking country.

Santiago and the Andes

Valparaiso is known as the "Jewel of the Pacific" and became an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.  It is located about 110 km northwest of Santiago on the ocean.
